God sought
His perspective
Desired
Being perceptive
Transpired
As I rested
In solitude
It cultivated zest
Reshaping my attitude
To gratitude
The burden not mine
To contend
Not to resign
But to transcend
The delights
Of relationship
As my life He rewrites
Redeeming it to equip
For transfiguring
Fellowship
Configuring
His Ownership
Silence is deafening to the ears
Thoughts begin to frolic through the years
The journey inward endured felt parched
Excavation reveals untold hearts
Reflective solitude intimate
Metamorphosis precipitates
Discovering the Makers image
Imparting a profound pilgrimage
Spirituality transpired
The journey maturity aspired
Becoming known beneath the layers
Unconditional love steeps with care
His Presence, not just a spectator
Fellowshiping with the Creator
I come here for solitude
To wash away the clutter
My thoughts swept away
With the flow of the creek
To sit still and be with You
The Lover of my soul
Listening for your voice
Quietly amidst the symphony of life
Whirring, buzzing, gargling, whoosh
How great it is to commune with You
The Creator of the universe
How awesome is your Wonder
You fill my soul so completely
With Your love and grace
Filling with warmth like sunlight
Flowing to others
It calls them to You
