Reflections

Reflecting inward
Inspecting my soul
Seeing my reflection
Rippling the water
Going deeper
Beyond my facade
I see evidence
Of independence
My image alone
Emulating from within
Loneliness of the soul
Not united to the One
Moving closer
Breaking the cycle
My heart moving
Closer to Him
Tenderness formed
Not me armored
Taking time to process
Oh how I long for His presence
The Magnificence of  the One
Completing my soul
Unity of hearts
The body of Christ
The Holy Spirit
Emulating from within
Reflecting dependence on the One

Worshiping God

We worship the true God
Even while in difficult circumstances
We focus on His glory
On His redeeming  story
To let go of our grumblings
Changes our heart
Putting the focus on Him
Not our wants
We put no confidence in our flesh
But in the Spirit of God
There is infinite value in knowing Him
Righteousness thru faith
Not in works of the law
Being shaped by Him
We rejoice at seeing Him
As He changes how we perceive life
Praying to Him
Shifts us from independence
To dependence on Him
Where He comes to life
Expecting to see Him through our day
Oh the Glories
Of Jesus Christ
The Mighty One
